Career Highlights Founder and author of A Fine Kettle of Fish, a 30,000-word blog on direct marketing, advertising and fundraising which has been cited dozens of times in both print publications (e.g., The New York Times, DM NEWS, etc.) and online (e.g., The DMA Bottom Line, PR Thoughts, Digital Bulletin, etc.). Managed a department of nine full-time creative professionals (plus a team of freelancers, independent contractors and interns), who were responsible for the development of several hundred direct mail fundraising packages annually for an agency that was honored at the 2004 and 2003 NEDMA Awards for Creative Excellence with a total of 26 awards, including Best of Show in 2003.
Wrote, directed or oversaw the creative development of projects that have been honored with dozens of awards for creative excellence and outstanding results, including Best of Show from the New England Direct Marketing Association and the coveted Axel Andersson Award for direct mail excellence from the publication, Inside Direct Mail.

Founded and ran own advertising agency for seven years (successfully completing over 500 different projects), taking complete responsibility for new business development, public relations, copywriting, creative direction and the management of all outside creative resources.
